Barf House is a new Vegetarian & Vegan B&B in a peaceful location at Dubwath on Bassenthwaite Lake.

In the north Lake District, just 8 miles from Keswick & 5 miles from Cockermouth we are in prime walking & cycling country (map) . We are also just across the road from Bassenthwaite Sailing club.  Car & cycle parking available.

Our gorgeous Edwardian semi-detached house with it's spectacular views across Bassenthwaite Lake to Skiddaw has two comfortable double rooms available to let. One is a spacious en-suite with views over the garden and countryside and the other has a fantastic view over the lake and a bathroom across the landing. Both rooms have digital colour TVs and tea/coffee making facillities.

Breakfast will be served in front of our bay window as the sun rises over the lake and mountains (weather permitting!). Evening meals, packed lunches and special diets on request.

Drying facilities available for wet coats & boots.
