At Barf House we are attempting to be as close to Carbon Neutral as we possibly can be.

To this end we have installed bio-fuel heating. We have a log burning stove which heats the living room and a wood pellet boiler for our central heating and hot water. Burning wood releases only the carbon which the tree has absorbed in it's lifetime unlike fossil fuels like coal, gas and oil which absorbed their carbon thousands of years ago.

We also buy our electricity from a 100% renewable supplier.

Our only producer of carbon is the car which is, unfortunately necessary as we are 5 miles from the nearest shop!

We also buy Local, Organic & Fair Trade produce where ever possible.
